This group of works is part of the production from a project-based mini-residency in June 2018, at Sol Print Studio in Baltimore, Maryland. Led by artists and experimental printmakers Soledad Salamé and Randy Reis McCormack, I was introduced to Solar Etching, a simple, safe and fast approach to etching and relied printing that does not use poinsonous grounds, acids or solvents.

The extensive knowledge and experience of both Soledad and Randy opened up a wonderful path to explore the media while pursuing my own expressive needs. I have continued to  work with solar printmaking ever since. In December 2019 I went to Sol Print Studio for a second residency.
